1/ What license to tow
To tow a trailer, in certain cases you must have a specific license, either the B96 training or the EB license.
2/ Registration
All trailers with a GVWR greater than 500 kg must be registered.
3/ Braking
All trailers over 750 kg GVW must be equipped with a braking system.
To tow an unbraked trailer, the curb weight of the towing vehicle must be equal to or greater than twice the GVWR of the towed trailer.
